Your Energy Matters: How You Can Be Part of the Climate Solution, Generation180 In-Person
Local nonprofit organization Generation180 inspires and equips people nationwide to take action on clean energy. They will help you understand how to electrify your life and share tips for reducing your carbon footprint with high-impact actions. Transportation is the largest contributor of greenhouse gas emissions, and Generation180 will share resources from its Electrify Your Ride program and help you explore how you can utilize emissions-free transportation.
The event will include the following activities:
- Clean Energy Trivia and Prizes: Generation180 will test your knowledge about climate solutions and will be giving out clean energy swag and prizes.
- Busting Myths about Electric Vehicles: Generation180 will discuss everything you have wanted to know about electric vehicles and answer the tough questions about the transition to electric.
- Ask an EV Owner: Generation180 will facilitate a discussion with several PVCC staff, who will share their experiences as EV owners.
- Electric Bike Demonstration: The Charlottesville E-bike Lending Library will be bringing electric bicycles that community members can borrow for free.
- Make Your Energy Matter: Take home our list of high impact actions that you can take and/or encourage your family and friends to take.
