Policies for Rooms to Zoom
In order to maintain social distancing, the group study rooms have been converted to Rooms to Zoom. If you do not have internet at home or it's spotty, you may come to the library and connect to your class in these rooms. Laptops are available at the front desk, but you can also bring your own.
We have several new policies for these rooms:
- Only ONE person is allowed in a room at a time. These rooms are NOT open for group study sessions, nor can they be used to take an exam. They are only to be used to connect to a class via Zoom.
- They cannot be reserved ahead of time and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must check in at the front desk, indicate what class it's for, and borrow the key. The rooms will remain locked when not in use.
- If all the rooms are in use when you arrive, the First Quadrant Math Center is open for you to connect to your class. Laptops and headphones are available for you to use. Their hours are Monday-Thursday from 9:00 AM-6:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
- If a student used the room before you, then you will be provided with cleaning supplies to clean the area. If the room wasn't in use and you would still like cleaning supplies, please ask and they will be provided.
